The elephants marched in two by two

Friday, we made it to Friday - woo & hoo, it was a long one or was that just me? Billie Holiday's 'Easy Living' was the soundtrack to my week. It was filled with cake eating, chatter & trawling on eBay (apart from the huge amount of work I had to do it was pretty much ace!)

I spent a lovely afternoon in Loopy Lorna's feasting on their afternoon tea - it was amazing & so many layers of yumminess. One of the highlights of a visit to Loopy's is the suprise of which tea cosy you are lucky enough to score, I was all about the elephant over my earl grey.

I also spent my Sunday popping into one of my favourite vintage fairs - Granny Would be Proud. It was brimming with vintage gold. I was trying to be good (mostly because I still hadn't been paid) but I did cave & buy a new pair of vintage glasses, they are very 1970s secretary chic (pics to follow once I get them back from the optician) & I figure glasses don't count, they are a necessity afterall - I need them to see.

My must haves of the week that have been keeping me sane & making me smile:

My new Benefit mascara has been adding a flutter to my day.
My trusty earmuffs, the grown up way to stay warm!
The prettiness of Alexa, Clemence & promise of Spring.
Happy Friday to everybody - I will be celebrating with brambles at six! xxx
